Chad Avery Burrell Sr., CCEMT-P
Chad began his career in Emergency Services in 1991 when he became a Fire Fighter / First Responder with a Fire Department in Greenville County. Chad decided to direct his career towards emergency medicine and obtained his Paramedic certification in 1994. Since then, he has worked with several area EMS services including Pelzer Rescue, Greenville County, and the Critical Care Transport Team of the Greenville Hospital System. Chad came to Laurens County in 2003 and has been leading the Training Department since 2004. Chad is committed to developing his and the department's understanding of both current and evolving EMS educational issues through research and evaluation of new information. Chad is involved in special response including Technical Rescue and the Dive Team. He has helped develop the LCEMS web site and currently maintains it. Chad has one son.
